Duplo USA has partnered with Electronics For Imaging, Inc. (EFI) and Ricoh to produce high profit, embellished applications from start-to-finish live in the booth. EFI™ Fiery® digital print server and workflow automation software will be demonstrated driving the RICOH Pro C7200X for printing, the DDC-810 Raised Spot UV Coater for embellishment, and the DC-646 Integrated Folding System for precision finishing. Fiery JobFlow® greatly improves efficiency by reducing the number of clicks required to prepare the CMYK and spot layer files for printing and finishing. Fiery Impose streamlines the process by applying imposition, barcodes and registration marks for the Duplo finishing devices. The Pro C7200X series brings game-changing five-color capabilities alongside best-in-class price performance, reliability and the ability to print on paper lengths up to 49.6 inches simplex or 27.5 inches duplex. Built on the legacy of the RICOH Pro C7100X, these presses print faster, more accurately and with an expanded color gamut, while offering improved media flexibility.

The Fiery JobFlow and Fiery Impose integration with Duplo’s DDC-810 Raised Spot UV Coater, DC-746 and DC-646 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser, and the UD-300 Rotary Die Cutter has been named one of the recipients of the PRINT 19 RED HOT Technology Recognition Program.

FINISHING SOLUTIONS ON EXHIBIT

The DDC-810 Raised Spot UV Coater is a compact and design-driven solution that utilizes 600 x 600 dpi inkjet technology, UV lamp curing and camera image registration to deliver production output with texture and depth. Add the Variable Coating Barcode Kit to add variable capabilities for images and text. With this option, the DDC-810 can read 1D or 2D barcodes on each sheet and automatically load the pre-ripped spot UV layer file.

The DC-646 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser offers the ability to create full-bleed applications with efficiency and flexibility. It eliminates white borders and prevents toner cracking on fold lines up to 30 sheets per minute and offers optional rotary tool and cross perforating modules, both with strike-perforating capabilities, for increased versatility. Produce 24-up business cards on 12" x 18" or 36-up on 14" x 26" paper sizes. See it on display with the in-line knife folder.

See embellished applications finished in various die cut shapes and sizes. Designed for use with flexible dies, the UD-300 Rotary Die Cutter performs multiple cuts, slits, slit-scores, kiss cuts, perforations, and window punches on a range of paper stock up to 14" x 20" at 3,000 sheets per hour.

The DFL-500 Dry Coat/Foil/Laminator offers the capability to dry coat, foil and laminate. Instantly enhance the look and feel of applications up to 13" x 24" in size. It comes equipped with an air suction feed system and utilizes heat and pressure to apply the finish. Users can switch between capabilities simply by changing the film and setting.

The 600i Booklet System is Duplo's flagship solution designed for saddle, side, or corner-stitched booklets as well as letter landscape applications. See it in its Duetto configuration with both the DSC-10/60i Collator and the DSF-2200 Sheet Feeder for a versatile bookletmaking solution.
