Presstek Demonstration Center Now Features the Ryobi 3404DI System

Press release from the issuing company

- Presstek Hosts Recent Training for Dealers - HUDSON, N.H., March 28 - Presstek, Inc., a leading provider of direct digital imaging technology, today announced it has installed a Ryobi 3404DI direct imaging press at its state-of-the-art Demonstration Center in Hudson, NH, and has recently completed a comprehensive DI training session for Ryobi dealers. The Ryobi 3404DI is an A3 (two-page), 4-color offset direct imaging press. The primary markets for the press are commercial and quick printers, in-plants and agencies. The 3404DI uses Presstek's ProFire imaging and PEARLdry thermal plate technology. It also utilizes a unique V-shaped cylinder design that holds the sheet tightly to the oversized impression cylinder without gripper change, resulting in perfect registration when combined with the accuracy of direct imaging. Presstek's DI Product Marketing Manager Mike Chadwick said, "Placing a Ryobi 3404DI in Presstek's demonstration center is a win-win situation. The customer receives a demonstration that covers the complete workflow from prepress to press. And, they also have an opportunity to tour Presstek's manufacturing facility where ProFire imaging kits are assembled and PEARLdry plates are manufactured, both key components of the Ryobi 3404DI. At the same time, Ryobi dealers can utilize the DI and workflow expertise of Presstek to further educate their customers on the benefits of direct imaging.'' "Presstek has a great facility and has been an enormous help in getting the Ryobi 3404DI sales program off to a good start,'' said John Boliver, sales manager for Superior Offset, a New England-based Ryobi dealer. "Presstek hosted a Dealer Sales Meeting recently that was very well received. Everyone was impressed by the quality of training and level of Presstek's commitment to the program.'' Sales demonstrations are ongoing and plans are underway for several open houses, which will feature the Ryobi 3404DI. Anyone interested in arranging a demonstration should contact their Ryobi dealer.
