Based on EFI's industry leading print server technology, the newest EDOX servers showcase strong improvements to job and color management capabilities, as well as advanced workflow support for applications such as remote printing. Streamlining the document production process, EDOX 4 features convenient Web-based job ticketing for pre- and post-printing instructions, as well as an enhanced account code system, which allows access restriction by individual user. Color control refinements allow customization to match overlay proofing systems as well as improved soft proofing (WYSISYG viewing), RGB/CMYK substitute color support and enhanced paper simulation. Additionally, EFI's PrintMe software will be built in to the EDOX server, eliminating the need for separate hardware while delivering remote printing capabilities through any Print Me-enabled mobile device.
