MagnetStreet Online Stationery Provider Adopts HP Indigo Digital Printing

Press release from the issuing company

New HP Indigo 12000 press boosting speed and productivity

MagnetStreet, an online, full-service stationery store and magnet manufacturer, is now deploying HP Indigo digital printing technology to provide fast turnaround in the highest quality, as it helps individuals and businesses alike personalize products to share their unique message with others.

The 29-inch sheetfed HP Indigo 12000 Digital Press was installed at MagnetStreet’s Chicago area facility to produce in-house printed items such as save the date and calendar magnets, invitations, cards, and other printed stationery for weddings, schools, special life moments and businesses.

In addition to these stationery lines, MagnetStreet can deliver a high volume of magnets produced for large direct mail projects in collaboration with printers and agencies.

Running an entirely in-house operation, including design services, gives MagnetStreet the ability to control end-to-end production and keep prices low and quality high.

“The HP Indigo 12000 prints at high speeds faster on a larger sheet using the Indigo liquid ElectroInks requiring no waiting time. This allows us to move through the entire finishing process much quicker and get orders shipped out much faster,” said David Baird, SVP Marketing at MagnetStreet. “Whether it’s laminating and finishing the entire magnet production process or die cutting and folding invitations and programs, we needed the type of ink on paper that allows us to go to work immediately.”

The higher productivity on the Indigo press is also enabling MagnetStreet to partner with ecommerce sites requiring fast turnaround for commercial and consumer print products.

MagnetStreet’s first Indigo press, the HP Indigo 12000 offers high-volume production speed along with an unmatched range of media capabilities including synthetic, metalized and canvas using One Shot technology. Advanced color capabilities include up to 7 ink stations and special inks such as HP Indigo ElectroInk White and fluorescents.
