Press release from the issuing company

  • Shorter lead times for major Continental brands supplied to printing industry
  • Flawless launch achieved in May 2019
  • Commitment made to the North American printing blanket business

Auburn Hills, Mich. – Technology company Continental enhances service levels and shortens lead times for its North American printing blanket business.

“We now offer our regional customers a greater level of efficiency.” The new warehouse and logistics service went live in May flawlessly. Orders that are received by noon leave the warehouse the same day. “This new set-up enables us to deliver any of our market leading Conti-Air, Phoenix Xtra and Laserline printing technology brands to anywhere in the USA or Canada within 48 hours as standard service,” said Bob Olsen, area manager for printing blankets in North America for Continental.

The warehouse and logistics center servicing the technology company’s printing industry customers is in Lincoln, Nebraska, and occupies 57,000 square feet of the total 887,000 square feet facility. Today’s announcement underscores Continental’s commitment to the North American printing market, its customers and distribution partners.
