New Inkjet Innovations on Show at Label Expo

Press release from the issuing company

Cambridge – At Label Expo (stand 9A15) Global Graphics Software will be showing its suite of screening technologies which corrects quality defects that are common in inkjet output so that converters and print shops can run a higher proportion of jobs digitally, confident that their customer will pay for them.

The ScreenPro™ screening engine, Advanced Inkjet Screens™ and PrintFlat™ have all been designed to overcome streaking, mottling and banding artifacts which, in some instances, are preventing converters from being able to sell their output.

Particularly affected are flat tints such as blue sky and some flesh tones, areas where, without correction inkjet presses struggle to compete with offset lithography and flexography.

Global Graphics Software’s suite of screening solutions remove the artifacts so that converters and print shops can benefit from the advantages of digital production such as short runs of special promotions and fully variable data. Visitors to the stand will be able to see printed samples that show the quality improvements that are possible after Global Graphics screening software has been applied.

Also on show will be Fundamentals, a simple to use digital front end with a modern user interface that makes it easy to submit and monitor jobs even remotely. It gives consistent, fully adjustable colour and contains the powerful Harlequin RIP® that is capable of processing all variable data jobs even up to 1m SKUs. Fundamentals is a collaboration with HYBRID Software.
