MPI Instore Solutions Moves its Printing Services In-House with the HP Scitex 15500 Corrugated Press

Press release from the issuing company

The print service provider produced the in-store displays for the successful Aqua D’Or “Flow Your Way” campaign

Copenhagen, Denmark – MPI Instore Solutions, a leading print service provider in Denmark, has moved its printing of displays and POS in-house with the acquisition of its HP Scitex 15500 Corrugated Press, gaining agility and flexibility.

Prior to the installation of the HP Scitex 15500, the Danish print service provider would design in-house, outsource high-quality prints from an offset printing provider, and then assemble the displays and POS in-house. But this all changed when MPI Instore Solutions installed the HP Scitex 15500 Corrugated Press.

MPI’s acquisition of the HP Scitex 15500 was driven by customers’ demands for more creativity, shorter runs, versioning, personalisation, fast turnaround times, and no inventory.

“The decision to choose HP was multi-fold. Following extensive market research, we were impressed by the robust, high-productivity of the HP Scitex 15500 Corrugated Press”, said Mette Christensen, CEO, MPI Instore Solutions. “For all this and more, the HP press proved a perfect fit for our customers.”

One recent successful campaign run by MPI Instore Solutions was the Aqua D’Or “Flow Your Way” campaign for Danone. Using HP Indigo’s digital printing technology and HP Mosaic, each water bottle labelled was printed with one-of-a-kind artwork. Created by Danish artist Emil Kozak, MPI Instore Solutions printed corresponding in-store displays on its HP Scitex 15500 Corrugated Press. Over three million bottles were sold, with extremely positive feedback from the customers. Mette Christensen, CEO, MPI Instore Solutions said: “the customer loved the quality and they were impressed by the speed at which we delivered 150 displays.”
