Driving the decision to implement a closed loop system was the desire to reduce make-ready time, increase efficiency, and improve overall quality. Because The Company had existing closed loop systems on other presses, they were well-versed in the short and long-term benefits. The new PressLink System was installed on a 2007 Heidlberg SM-102 8 Color Press with both ink presetting and closed loop.
