Press release from the issuing company

Wood Dale, Illinois (October 05, 2008) Fuller Grafix, Inc. has been named the exclusive distributor for the complete lineup of Petratto bookbinding and finishing equipment for  Northern Illinois and Northern Indiana.  Petratto formed its USA operations in 2005 to market and support the product range throughout the USA and Canada. Manufactured in Turin since 1963, the Petratto Italy headquarters also houses a complete design facility.

"Fuller Grafix delighted to represent Petratto binding and finishing equipment, which is an excellent addition to our extensive bindery equipment offerings.  We are looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship", said Larry R. Fuller, President, Fuller Grafix, Inc.

In addition to the standard products in the range, Petratto offers an innovative service to produce machines customized to suit individual requirements.  The state of the art design centre ensures that all of the products in the portfolio are upgraded and enhanced whenever a change in the market or specific need arises.  All upgrades, new designs or modifications can be retrofitted to existing equipment. The Petratto range of equipment includes:

As one of the most versatile machines available today, the Metro was developed using years of experience selling and manufacturing pocket folders and folding gluing machines.

Totally modular in design, the Metro can be purchased as a base unit and modules added as customer's requirements change or grow.  This eliminates the problem of purchasing equipment which becomes obsolete.  The Metro is capable of producing the widest variety of applications which includes: Presentation folders; Slip cases; File folders; Envelopes; Cartons and auto-lock bottom boxes.

The Cordoba range of creasing machines compromises of several models designed around the same creasing section. This creasing section utilizes the rule of matrix concept which provides die-creasing to the same quality as a die-cutting and creasing press. All systems have an in-feed register and positioning rollers which ensure accuracy and consistency. All models are digitally controlled and can be linked with other types of machines.

Also available from Fuller Grafix are the Automaberg range of equipment which includes a trim and perf inline die-cutting and punching machines. Petratto binding and finishing equipment is backed by Fuller Grafix parts and service.
