  • Three ColorJet digital printing technologies to lead the way in ‘Green’ digital printing
  • ColorJet has installed digital printers in 315 cities across the world

Following the global strides in greener inks and energy efficient printing, ColorJet Group, the largest Indian manufacturer of wide format digital printers, is exhibiting at APPPEXPO 2019 in Shanghai under the concept of ‘Print Green Print for a Better Tomorrow’.

ColorJet is displaying live demonstrations of three digital printers under the concept, with the SoftJet Grand incorporating eight colours, being the finest soft signage solution. The company will be exhibiting in Hall No. 3A, Stall No. 418 at APPPEXPO 2019.

The SoftJet Grand is a game-changing product, which offers the widest colour gamut in its segment. This evolutionary technology in addition to CMYK also features Grey, Light Magenta, Orange and Blue ink to deliver rich and saturated colours, while delivering exceptional print quality, while also optimising productivity and performance.

The additional colours extend the range of achievable colours across the colour spectrum, and produce exceptional skin tones and smooth gradients for stunning photographic image quality.

The printer is equipped with ColorJet Edition RIP Software to boost productivity and colour management, while running at speeds of up to 167 sq. metres per hour.

The eight colour variant in the SoftJet Grand automatically makes it the ideal choice for print service providers, who would like to offer high-impact applications and deliver beyond the colour expectations of their customers.

The SoftJet Grand also helps ColorJet lead the way to a greener environment by using environment-friendly aqueous based inks and is also optimised to replace PVC based media completely by easily printing on polyester-based fabrics, which can also be recycled.

Apart from the SoftJet Grand, ColorJet is also showcasing the POLO HQ, a 3.2 metre eco-solvent six colour printer. One of the POLO HQ variant is also compatible with ROHS complaint ink, which is highly eco-friendly and is based on ColorJet’s ‘GREENTECH’ mechanism. Also on show is the two-in-one VERVE Hybrid, which is a UV Flatbed, as well as a Roll-to-Roll printer.

Since 2004, ColorJet has single-mindedly pursued excellence in digital printing and as per the latest IDC report; ColorJet digital printers command the number-1 position in India. ColorJet digital printers have been installed in several countries, while recently adding Spain, Portugal, Greece and Thailand, thereby expanding its global footprint.
