MailPix Sees Dramatic 2018 Sales Growth

Press release from the issuing company

Mobile sales and acquisitions drive double-digit profit and sales

Huntington Beach, Calif. – MailPix, the photo-printing, canvas and gifting site, announced 2018 sales revenue were up 38 percent and profits up 53 percent, compared to the prior year. The privately-held company attributed the revenue and margin growth to the recent acquisitions of Photobucket’s PrintShopLab.com and RitzPix.com and to the continued growth of its 1 Hour Photo app.

“Despite the news in the business press reporting disappointing results for Shutterfly, MailPix is optimistic about the future potential of the photo printing, gift and decor markets,” says Fred H. Lerner, founder and CEO. “We are continuing to manage our growth with strategic brand acquisitions and mobile app development.”

MailPix added five brands since 2014: 1 Hour Photo, MyPix2, RitzPix, Winkflash and Photobucket’s Print Shop Lab. The MailPix brand portfolio of websites and mobile apps is an industry leader. Apps in the MailPix family deliver to more than 20,000 U.S. retail locations.
