Techkon USA Appoints Richard Black as Midwest Sales Manager

Danvers, Mass. – Techkon USA – the innovation leader in high-precision color measurement solutions for the global print and packaging communities – announced today that Richard Black has joined the team as the new Midwest Sales Manager. The strategic hire is in an effort to meet its ever increasing customer base in the Midwest area. Techkon has experienced rapid growth in that area and throughout North America over the past 2 years in large part due to its superior product line and excellent customer service.

Richard Black has been involved with the printing and publishing industry for more than 30 years. Richard graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science degree in graphic communications. He spent 17 years working for major manufacturers such as Fujifilm and GretagMacbeth and then joined All Printing Resources (APR) in August 2006. He served as the VP of business development, focusing on new business opportunities with strategic product lines and digital products in the narrow web market.

Richard is extremely involved with industry associations including the FIRST Committee as a member, speaking at both FTA’s Forum and Fall Conference, co-chairing the 2010 Fall Conference as well as speaking, and as a session co-chair at the TLMI Technical Conference.
