XICURE-synthetic UV ink System Debuts in Flint Ink booth #0825 Products and educational presentations to empower printers ANN ARBOR, MI (August 15, 2002) - Flint Ink, the world's largest privately-owned ink manufacturer, will present its complete line of quality inks and coatings for commercial, heatset, digital, publication and package printing at Graph Expo/Converting Expo 2002, October 6 - 9, 2002, McCormick Place Convention Center, Chicago, IL Flint Ink's energy curable ink systems will be highlighted, with special attention on its new XICURE -synthetic UV ink systems. Flint Ink's XICURE-synthetic ink systems are energy-curable offset UV systems with superior adhesion and scratch resistance for use on plastic and other non-porous substrates. Applications include phone, credit and frequent flyer cards, tags, P-O-P displays, signs, children's books and game pieces, maps, and agri-spikes. In addition, Flint Ink will deliver a live presentation, "Colorful Solutions." The 10 to12-minute talk will educate printers about new state-of-the-art ink systems and technologies, and offer ideas on how to streamline processes, maximize assets and grow new business.
