High-Volume Networked Scanning Now Possible with Compatible imageFORMULA Products1

Melville, N.Y. – To help improve productivity and efficiency in today’s office workflows, Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, releases its new Scan Kiosk II Network Adapter. The product can provide businesses with the ability to create a high-volume networked scanning solution when connected to compatible imageFORMULA production scanners1, a feature previously unavailable.

“Corporate mailrooms or copy rooms, legal services, healthcare, and a plethora of other paper intensive areas often need to convert large volumes of paper documents into digital files,” says Shinichi Yoshida, executive vice president and general manager, Canon U.S.A., Inc. “Our intent with the release of this new network adapter is to help positively contribute to those work environments’ document management systems to help boost productivity.”

Great for any size office environment, the Scan Kiosk II Network Adapter includes an easy-to-view, 10.1-inch, high-definition, color touchscreen that mounts on a flexible stand and can easily fit on a counter or desktop. End users can then easily scan directly to their chosen folder through file destinations configured on the network. System administrators can create, and lock down, customizable workflows to fit within their data privacy and storage policies. Fleet management is also available via the imageWARE Enterprise Management Console.

eCarePAK extended service options are also available for purchase, to help end users save on costs associated with post-purchase maintenance and maximize uptime.

The Scan Kiosk II Network Adapter is now available through Canon authorized dealers and resellers (MSRP $3,495)*.
