R.R. Donnelley Earns Multi-year Contract Extension with American Media, Inc.

Media publishing giant extends relationship based on service, reliability CHICAGO, July 31, 2002 - R.R. Donnelley has been awarded a long-term contract extension to continue printing 10 magazines for American Media Inc. (AMI) including National Enquirer, Star, Globe, Sun, Examiner, Weekly World News, Country Weekly, Auto World magazine, Country Music magazine, Mira! and all of AMI's special issues under one agreement for production through the year 2015. Print services will continue to be provided through R.R. Donnelley's nationwide integrated network of print facilities. "Our goal is to align ourselves with a reliable partner like R.R.
