Kinkos Names Sue Parks as Executive Vice President of Operations

DALLAS, July 30 -- Kinko's, Inc. today announced the addition of Sue Parks as executive vice president of operations.  Ms. Parks will join the leading provider of document solutions and business services effective August 1. As Kinko's new executive vice president of operations, Ms. Parks' responsibilities will include managing Kinko's field operations, commercial sales team, real estate and global marketing. "Sue Parks is a proven leader with a tremendous reputation of driving operational excellence and expanding top-line sales in both commercial and retail settings," said Gary Kusin, Kinko's president and chief executive officer.  "Her extensive senior-level management experience makes her the perfect choice to fill Kinko's number-two leadership position." Prior to joining Kinko's, Ms. Parks was senior vice president of Gateway's U.S. markets, a multi-billion-dollar unit providing products and services to business, government, education and consumer customers.  In this role, she managed a team of 10,000 employees, who were responsible for marketing, sales, service and support-team activities.  In addition, she was in charge of Gateway's sales channels, including 300 retail stores, call centers, field operations and the Internet. Preceding Gateway, Ms. Parks was vice president/general manager at US West, heading the business and government solutions division, a $2.6 billion business unit with 3,500 employees.  In this role, she directed the division to provide its more than 10,000 business customers with integrated voice, data, video and Internet solutions.  In addition, as vice president of voice products for US West, she drove the company to its strongest growth among small business clients. Ms. Parks earned a bachelor of science degree in industrial administration from Iowa State University.
