KPG Names Wiethoff Vice President, Plate Business

Norwalk, Connecticut, USA -- July 8, 2002 -- Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) today announced the appointment of Jack Wiethoff as Vice President, Plate Business. Wiethoff, Managing Director of KPG’s United Kingdom and Ireland Strategic Business Unit (SBU), will assume the newly created position effective September 3, 2002. Wiethoff will be responsible for managing worldwide strategic product planning and for maintaining a customer focused marketing leadership for KPG’s plate portfolio. Wiethoff will play a key role in coordinating KPG’s plate business with KPG’s regional operations in the Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, Japan and the United States and Canada Regions. Wiethoff will be located at KPG’s worldwide headquarters in Norwalk, Connecticut and will report to Vic Stalam, Vice President, Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer. "KPG is known around the world for its leadership in plates. Jack has the global experience and management expertise to bring value to our customers," said Jeff Jacobson, Chief Executive Officer. "Jack’s made a tremendous contribution to KPG’s business in the U.K. and Ireland. Based on his sales and marketing leadership abilities, technical knowledge and analytical skills, I’m confident that he will experience the same success in his new role." Wiethoff began his career in the graphic arts in sales with Inmont Inks in 1974. He then held various marketing positions of increasing responsibility with Polychrome in North America and Europe before becoming Nordic SBU Manager in 1997. He assumed his current European role in 1999. Wiethoff holds an Advanced Professional Certificate in Business Administration from New York University, an M.B.A. from Adelphi University and a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
