Cenveo Publisher Services Pledges Support for the Society for Scholarly Publishing 2019 Annual Meeting by Renewing Commitment to Provide Print and Fulfillment Services

Press release from the issuing company

Columbia, Md. – Cenveo Publisher Services has renewed its commitment to provide print and fulfillment services for the 2019 Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP) Annual Meeting to be held at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina, May 29-31, 2019. A long-standing partner of society and association publishers, Cenveo offers innovative print capabilities and an experienced, customer-focused account management team. The materials will be printed in Cenveo’s Lancaster, Pennsylvania facility, which has an extensive history of high-quality printing and unique production capabilities that support the scholarly publishing market.

Printed materials leading up to and during the SSP Annual Meeting are still in high demand by meeting attendees and play a valuable role in the attendee experience. From the first save-the-date postcard landing in mailboxes to the handy on-site program guide, these materials provide valuable information to inform attendees about meeting topics, speakers, locations and events. For 2019, Cenveo will produce and distribute the save-the-date postcard, preliminary program, on-site program and the popular pocket schedule.

“Cenveo has been an excellent partner for producing the SSP Annual Meeting materials. We are grateful for their support over the years and pleased that we are able to continue working with them in a mutually beneficial way,” said Melanie Dolechek, SSP Executive Director. “The quality and timeliness of our promotional and resource materials is critical to the success of the meeting and Cenveo has proven they can deliver while exceeding expectations.”

“Print is still a critical component for journal publishers,” explains Paul Yeager, Sales Account Executive at Cenveo. “Working with SSP on materials for the Annual Meeting is just one of the many ways we demonstrate our commitment to scholarly publishing.”

The SSP Annual Meeting has grown steadily in recent years and attracted approximately 900 attendees in 2018. The SSP Annual Meeting Call for Participation closes on December 14 for pre-meeting seminars, sponsored sessions and 5-minute previews sessions. Information about each of these session types can be found on the SSP website.
