Arjowiggins Graphic, a leading manufacturer of environmental paper solutions, has today announced a strategic partnership with Papersmith to distribute its flagship recycled paper, Cocoon 100% recycled, in India. The announcement signals the expansion of Cocoon in three key geographical locations including Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru.

Arjowiggins Graphic’s innovative Cocoon range recycles office waste paper into premium quality bright white recycled paper using a unique environmental chlorine free process. As demand for sustainable production and eco-friendly products continues to grow, Cocoon provides businesses with 100% recycled extra-white paper which delivers outstanding print performance and print results comparable to virgin fibre papers, whilst helping to reduce their environmental footprint.

Cocoon products are manufactured from 100% FSC certified recycled de-inked pulp produced using pioneering methods at Arjowiggins Graphic’s Greenfield de-inking plant and offer the same performance standards as virgin fibre papers, with excellent runnability and outstanding print results.

Papersmith will stock an extensive range of grammages in all three locations. Cocoon Offset, a 100% recycled uncoated paper will be stocked in 100, 120, 160, 200, 250 and 300 gsm and Cocoon Silk, a 100% recycled uncoated paper, will be stocked in 90, 115, 135, 170, 250 and 300 gsm.

Both product ranges are ideal for a wide range of applications: Advertising material, Annual, Books, Brochures, Business Cards, Calendars, Catalogues, Direct Mail, Flyers, Inserts, Leaflets, Magazines, Posters, Promotional Communications and Packaging. Guaranteed for sheet fed offset, digital printing – dry and liquid toner, suitable for heat set web offset in reels, as well as being suitable for varnishing, film lamination, foil blocking, embossing, folding and die cutting.

A unique benefit of using Cocoon Silk and Cocoon Offset is that customers can receive their own personalised Environmental Benefit Statement, which outlines the environmental savings made with applications printed using Cocoon Silk and Cocoon Offset papers.

For example, a 20,000 Report and Account 34-page A4 brochure printed on 170 gsm Cocoon Silk text pages and 300 gsm Cocoon Offset cover pages would receive a statement outlining savings that can be printed on the actual print job as follows*:
