MONTREAL, July 5 - Integria Inc., received four prizes for outstanding achievement in the 2002 Premier Prints Awards, the graphic art industry's largest and most prestigious worldwide printing competition hosted by the Printing Industries of America (PIA), the world's largest graphic arts association. Competing against more than 4,800 entries from printing and graphic arts firms from around the world, Integria received an Award of Recognition, as one of the top finalists in the new hexachrome-printing category of the competition. Two hundred and twenty seven Awards of Recognition were distributed this year in 92 categories. Integria utilized hexachromic prepress technology in order to faithfully reproduce the vibrant and saturated colors of Cirque du Soleil's "Dralion" Souvenir program. The finished piece earned Integria an Award of Recognition in this new category within the Premier Print Awards. In addition, Integria was also awarded three certificates of merit for the SGF Annual Report 2000, "Quidam" Souvenir program and for the Creators' Notebook for Cirque du Soleil's most recent production of "Varekai". "We are very proud of our winning team, - it is both an honour and a privilege to be recognized by the industry as a company that produces top quality, award winning materials using leading edge technology", said Jamie Barbieri, President and CEO Ray Roper, PIA's president and chief executive officer, agrees. "The field of entries was very impressive this year. The hard work and determination of Integria Inc. enabled them to produce award winning pieces in the face of some very stiff competition." The Premier Print Awards is the printing industry's oldest and largest worldwide graphic arts competition. In its 52nd year, the competition recognizes those responsible for the creation and production of print communications. The competition promotes excellence in print communications and rewards companies and individuals who produce the best in print media.
