Continuum Completes Roster of Sponsorship Partners at Even Benefitting Tackle Kids Cancer and Honoring Print and Business Technology Excellence

Hamburg, N.J. – The imaging industry is Alive & Kicking and The Cannata Report, the intelligence resource for business technology and imaging solutions resellers will spotlight its vitality and vigor at its 33rd Annual Awards & Charities Dinner. Continuum, an IT management platform company, joins Hytec Dealer Services and PSIGEN Software to complete the roster of official sponsors for the event held on November 8 to raise funds for Tackle Kids Cancer, a philanthropic program benefitting the Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack University Medical Center.

“Diversification and limitless versatility have transformed what historically has been referred to as the print or imaging industry,” said CJ Cannata, executive vice president and publisher. “A perfect example of the changes taking place in the industry is exemplified by the sponsors of our Annual Awards & Charities Dinner this year—Hytec Dealer Services, PSIGEN Software, and Continuum. These companies symbolize the widening scope that encompasses the industry as it moves in new directions to provide a broader range of products and services driven by changing behaviors and technology advancements. The Cannata Dinner has always honored excellence but this year we are sending a shout out to the industry for its versatility and adaptability, its renewed strength and vitality, and its limitless potential.”

The Alive & Kicking themed event will honor industry-leading executives and companies from the manufacturing, financial, software services and dealer segments of the print and business technology industry in nine distinct categories with Frank Awards that are bestowed each year based on the results of The Cannata Report’s Annual Dealer Survey sponsored by TIAA. A standard in the industry, the Survey provides in-depth analysis and trend information regarding the independent dealer channel. In addition, this year The Cannata Report will bestow a Lifetime Achievement Award to industry icon Tom Johnson, founder of Global Imaging Systems.

“We believe all successful companies have a civic responsibility to work for a cause greater than themselves," said Continuum CEO Michael George. “We are proud to sponsor The Cannata Report’s 33rd Annual Awards & Charities Dinner and commend Tom Johnson for his extraordinary contributions to the entire industry.” Added George, “As we expand our partnerships with dealers and focus on empowering their business, it is an honor to as well support and contribute to the philanthropic spirit that sets the industry apart.”

The Alive & Kicking theme will carry through to the event’s official after party sponsored by All Covered. It will also be the inspiration for the 3rd Annual Women Influencers Brunch sponsored by Ametek ESP, EFI, Konica Minolta, and Supplies Network to be held November 9. The Brunch celebrates the leading female executives featured in The Cannata Report’s recently published 5th Anniversary Women Influencers issue (July/August 2018).

To date, The Cannata Report’s Annual Awards & Charities Dinner has raised in excess of $2.2 million for charitable organizations nationwide. Business Technology Association’s General Counsel Bob Goldberg serves as emcee and Sharp Electronics Corporation will produce the 2018 awards portion of the Cannata Dinner as A/V sponsor.
