Caliber Learning Network Selects Versient For Online Printing

Press release from the issuing company

Hunt Valley, MD - Versient, Inc., a business-to-business Internet application developer, has been selected by Caliber Learning Network, Inc. (Nasdaq: CLBR), a leading provider of end-to-end eLearning solutions, to implement an online solution for ordering printed corporate materials and streamlining the delivery of information to potential clients. Six months ago Versient implemented Versient.Order (V.Order), an online application that enables Caliber's more than 200 employees to efficiently order printed materials on-demand. V.Order enables users to modify, proof, procure and manage printed business materials online. By empowering end-users to initiate the procurement of printed materials, the entire ordering process is expedited. Also, designated corporate administrators at Caliber maintain control, review real-time inventory, determine usage patterns and control spending. Caliber's dispersed regional field sales representatives, as well as staff at the company's headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland are using V.Order to procure marketing materials, sales support literature, folders, business cards and stationery. In the past, the task of disseminating collateral and corporate materials was assigned to the sales operations group at Caliber. The new solution eliminates the need for the group to spend time processing and shipping requests for materials from the central office. Kevin Thibodeau, Vice President of Marketing for Caliber stated, "V.Order is an asset to our organization. Our dispersed sales force is able to order the materials they need and have them delivered within days. This alleviates the typical delays associated with processing an order through a central office. Our sales operations department is able to focus on more mission-critical activities." Two months ago, Versient expanded the services being provided for Caliber when Versient.Document (V.Doc) was introduced to deliver information to prospects interested in Caliber's suite of eLearning services. Interested visitors to Caliber's web site (www.caliber.com) can receive additional information by completing an online RFI form that instantly creates an electronic brochure that is delivered within seconds to the individual in a PDF format. Through V.Doc, Caliber gathers information about an individual's specific training interests and requirements that is immediately routed to the appropriate Caliber consultant for follow-up. The lead management component of V.Doc allows Caliber to more easily capture prospect information. "We are pleased that Caliber has implemented two of our products-V.Order and V.Doc-to improve internal efficiencies and responsiveness to requests for information," stated Ken Wahler, President and Chief Executive Officer of Versient. "We are committed to ensuring that Caliber continues to experience hard and soft cost savings as well as the marketing advantages our online solutions provide."
