Lexmark Appoints New President For Consumer Printer Division

LEXINGTON, Ky, -- Lexmark International, Inc. (NYSE: LXK) today announced the appointment of Tim Craig to the position of president of its consumer printer division (CPD). He succeeds Bernard Masson who is leaving the company at year-end to pursue other interests. Craig has been with Lexmark since its founding in 1991 and most recently served as vice president of strategic planning for the printer maker. In making the announcement, Lexmark chairman and CEO Paul J. Curlander stated, "We are delighted to have a person of Tim's skill and experience join our consumer printer team." Prior to his current assignment, Craig served in a variety of product development positions within Lexmark and was a key member of the team responsible for launching the company's successful Optra line of enterprise workgroup laser printers. Prior to his association with Lexmark, Craig served for 15 years in a number of management positions with IBM. Craig, 48, holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Rose Hulman in Terre Haute, Indiana. "I'm sure that everyone within Lexmark joins me in recognizing the contribution that Bernard Masson has made over the past several years to the growth achieved by our consumer printer division, and we all wish him well in his future endeavors," noted Curlander. "I am sure that Tim and the consumer printing team will continue to build on CPD's success in the months and years ahead."
