Press release from the issuing company

New Berlin (Milwaukee), Wis., & Dallas, Tex. – Performance POP, an innovative end-to-end shopper marketing company featuring an in-house creative agency and robust manufacturing capabilities has installed the VersaTech2 3.2M flatbed cutting system with laser, knife cutting, and routing capabilities made by MCT Digital.

The addition of the VersaTech2 3.2 meter wide digital flatbed cutting and routing system has increased productivity and reliability of Performance POP’s entire production process. “Adding the VersaTech2 finishing machine furthers our commitment to shifting to an all-digital production workflow that provides higher value and efficiency,” said Taylor White, CEO of Performance POP.

White added “Our clients come to us with an idea, and the Performance POP team designs a product that comes to life with state of the art tools such as the VersaTech2.” White went on to say “This machine offers versatility in its finishing options including the latest in laser cutting.” Using the Versatech2’s laser function, Performance is able to cut materials such as fabrics and acrylics more efficiently and with higher quality, broadening the already wide range of production capabilities that Performance POP offers to its retail and consumer brands clients.

David Nickels, Director of Operations said “The heavy duty design and build style of MCT Digital’s VersaTech2 flatbed cutting system was one of the things I noticed. This robust design allows using tools like the laser that put it a cut above the rest of the machines we considered. The installation went smoothly - MCT Digital’s techs and support people really know the machine and applications.”
