Xerox Document Centre Products Win Three 'Editor's Choice' Awards

Press release from the issuing company

ROCHESTER, N.Y., - The recently introduced Xerox Document Centre 480, 470 and 460 digital products have each won an "Editor's Choice" award from Better Buys for Business, an influential office equipment buyer's guide. The citations mark the fourth consecutive year that the editors have chosen a member of the Xerox Document Centre product family for this recognition, bringing the total number of BBB Editor's Choice awards to 10. Better Buys for Business selects products that are the best performers and provide the best value for customers. The magazine bases its decision on its evaluations of hundreds of models from all major manufacturers as well as feedback from customers. "The Document Centre devices rated very high in our evaluations," said Jonathan Bees, editor in chief, Better Buys for Business. "In choosing Document Centre systems as Editor's Choice recipients for four straight years, we have consistently found that Xerox should be cited for its digital technology leadership." Specific evaluation criteria for the High-Volume Copier and Multifunctional product category included productivity; the successful integration of advanced technology, particularly in the controller software; ease-of-use; the design of the control panel; customer support; the network software; and the modular, upgradeable design. The awards are announced in the publisher's annual "High-Volume Copier and Multifunctional Guide." Powered by a robust Intel microprocessor, Xerox Document Centre products can print, copy, fax and scan from 20-75 pages per minute. Designed to deliver maximum productivity in the networked office, all products include enhanced features that enable users to work faster by easily managing and sharing electronic and paper documents.
