Internet Explorer 5.5 For Windows Now Available for Download

REDMOND, Wash., -- Microsoft today announced download availability for the newest version of Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer 5.5 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Internet Tools provides the latest updates and security fixes to the Internet Explorer technology. The update, which benefits consumers and developers alike, can be installed as an upgrade to existing versions of Internet Explorer or on computers with no previous Internet Explorer installation. The update includes the ability to apply "Connection Manager" as the default dialer when Dial-Up Networking is already installed and to preview Web pages exactly as they'll appear when printed with "Print Preview." It also has improved support for DHTML and CSS, providing for greater control over browser appearance and behavior.
