SGIA Calls for Golden Image Competition Submissions

Press release from the issuing company

Entries will be on display in the Golden Image Gallery at the 2018 SGIA Expo

Fairfax, Va. – The Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) is accepting entries for the 2018 Golden Image Competition. The competition recognizes excellence in printing in a wide variety of categories including banners, garments, ceramics and embroidery.

“The Golden Image Competition is your opportunity to showcase your company’s printing expertise. Winning a Golden Image Award places you among the best printers in the world,” said Johnny Shell, Vice President of Print Technology and Training, SGIA.

A select group of outstanding entries will receive gold, silver, bronze or honorable mention recognition, and gold level winners are considered for “Best of Show.” All entries are eligible to win the People’s Choice Award, voted on by SGIA Expo attendees.

All Golden Image entries will be judged and displayed in the Golden Image Gallery at the 2018 SGIA Expo (Las Vegas, October 18—20), which attendees can check out and explore while they walk the show floor.

“Thousands of SGIA Expo attendees will visit the Golden Image Gallery to see what their peers are touting as their best work. Just entering puts you among the best in the business, and winning elevates your shop that much more," said Shell.

The contest is open to SGIA members, who will receive one free entry. (Additional entries are $35 each.) Submissions must arrive at the SGIA depository between September 20 and October 5, 2018, and will be judged during the 2018 SGIA Expo.
