Fredrix Canvas Celebrating 150th USA-Made Anniversary

Press release from the issuing company

Lawrenceville, Ga. – Fredrix Canvas celebrates 150 years of producing the world’s finest artist and printable canvases. Manufacturing in the USA with both high-tech machine coating and old-world hand-priming, Fredrix provides the best of both worlds to its U.S. and International customers.

Fredrix print canvas began celebrating their 150-year USA-Made history at the recent meeting of the Federation of European Screen Printers Associations (FESPA) in Berlin with a “Fredrix FESPA factory” themed booth and experienced one of their busiest shows on record. “Displaying both our heritage and our modern facility at FESPA allowed visitors to connect how manufacturing a fine artist canvas has allowed us to produce the ultimate printable canvas,” Fredrix Sr. Vice President Mike Ecker stated.

Fredrix print canvas plans to launch their U.S. celebration this fall at the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association’s (SGIA) trade show in Las Vegas.

Fredrix continues to grow its U.S. based manufacturing with several new printable canvas styles, one of which is 901S60 IMPRESSION, a satin finish on one of their most popular canvases. These recent additions expand their canvas offering to ensure that both the budget conscious start-up print shop and the museum quality giclée print house have a competitively priced USA-made canvas of unsurpassed quality.
