Gelato Adds Offset Printing to its Global Platform

Press release from the issuing company

Gelato, the world’s most cost-efficient and environmentally friendly print solution, announces today that it has added large volume offset print capabilities to its platform.

Gelato has always enabled companies to make smaller and more frequent on-demand print orders, creating unprecedented flexibility and cost-efficiency. With the launch of offset printing, global companies can achieve the same benefits when they need larger print quantities.

“We’re bringing the same local production benefits, including shorter delivery times, local billing and reduction of carbon emissions caused by transport, to organizations dealing with large quantity offset printing. With the launch of offset we offer a more complete solution to our global customers”, says Henrik Müller-Hansen, CEO and Founder at Gelato.

To introduce the service, Gelato has worked closely with its existing global print partners – many of which have offset print machines alongside their digital presses.

This is just one way in which Gelato continues to improve its platform in a constant effort to provide the best technology for each order; offering offset, digital and wide format to meet the need of customers.

"Gelato offers far more than I’d originally realized. It enables me to support our sales team globally while reducing my workload. It is easy to use and best of all, it now even offers offset printing for larger quantities. The whole concept of local printing and reduced transportation is brilliant," says Andreas Häußner, Marketing Director at Rommelag, a global market leader within bottelpack packaging solutions.
