Infigo Software and Afinia Label Announce Game-Changing Collaboration that Will Offer New and Exciting, In-Store and Real-Time Personalization Opportunities

Press release from the issuing company

Crawley, England – Infigo Software is hugely excited to announce a new, industry first collaboration with Afinia Label. The collaboration will see Infigo and Afinia join forces to enable instant, in-store, real-time printed personalization across a multitude of products; the opportunities are endless.

Afinia Label manufactures and distributes industrial colour label printing and finishing equipment in more than 55 countries around the world, and is the ideal partner to Infigo Software to demonstrate the true possibilities of real-time, in-store personalization.

For the first time ever, everything needed to run a complete, end-to-end personalization campaign in-store in real time, on any number of products, is available to any business, no matter its size; and all from one unique collaborative solution.

The two brands will showcase this for the first time at Dscoop Vienna in Austria on June 13-15.

Infigo Software recognizes the added-value and emotional engagement such an opportunity allows. No longer will it be the internet that people have to turn to for personalized solutions. Speed and immediate visual and physical engagement superior to anything the internet can provide can drive footfall across the threshold once again.

Douglas Gibson, MD and founder of Infigo Software, comments, “This is a really exciting opportunity for all of us; it will demonstrate the true, limitless possibilities of personalization. We think once the public see this functionality in action they will embrace it and take it to places even we haven’t considered. Afinia have already run successful campaigns for specific brands and demonstrated the easy application of the technology live, in-store. With Infigo’s bespoke intuitive solution, we feel once picked up on this will become a must have for all stores that want to stay relevant in the 21st Century.”

Nathan Daniel, EMEA Sales Manager for Afinia Label recognizes, “In today’s world, retail stores are looking for ways to fight back against e-commerce and get customers back through the doors. Similarly, customers are looking for ways to identify with a brand; by being in the store and able to interact with the product on a personal level, seeing the product being personalized Infigo Software Limited www.infigosoftware.com Phone: UK +44 (0) 845 658 6459 US +1 (0) 305 407 2323 Suite 2, Belgrave House Station Way Crawley ENGLAND RH!0 1HU 7950 NW 53rd Street Suite 337, Miami Florida, 33166 USA PRESS RELEASE in front of their eyes, creates for the customer the emotional connection that will tie them to a brand. For the stores themselves, it secures a higher footfall and ensures more time spent in the store by each customer. All of this before even mentioning the increased margins one is able to add to the product.”

Infigo Software will deliver the front-end user experience, enabling unlimited beautiful branded websites for multiple products or brands, and live 3D product previews. This allows a complete brand experience for the customer, all managed via an Infigo portal. Douglas added, “Given our previous experience with in-store personalization, and that of Afinia, we are ideally placed to bring this exciting development to market with as little stress as possible.”

Similar experiences have previously been delivered by Infigo, and the know-how gained from these, including our original laser project that enabled customers to laser personalize products via an iPad on the shop floor, has proved critical in this development. This, however, is the first label printing collaboration that offers such a simple personalization solution for so many products.

Equally, as part of a recent holiday campaign with Kmart Australia, Afinia Label L301 Colour Label Printers were deployed across 214 stores to personalize labelling on jars of Nutella and Vegemite. With the rise in online shopping, Kmart Australia saw this promotion as a way to offer a unique experience for customers visiting the bricks and mortar stores, and it generated sales of over 300,000 jars for the short campaign.

“Afinia Label’s printers offer the professional capability and small, desktop-sized footprint necessary for these types of in-store personalization campaigns,” said Nathan Daniel. “By combining the power and reputation of Infigo Software with Afinia’s market leading desktop label printing technology, there is nothing else in the rapidly evolving product personalization market that will be able to compete with the bespoke packages we are able to offer, both to brands and retail stores.”
