Hamburg – EyeC reports a high demand for the EyeC Quality Link. Following the successful launch at Labelexpo Europe 2017, nine print shops from Europe, Asia and the United States ordered the new solution for in-line inspection of labels and flexible packaging.

The EyeC Quality Link combines the financial advantages of print inspection on the press with quality control during finishing. The inspection system uses the inspection results of the press on the rewinder so that printers no longer have to equip both their presses and rewinders with full inspection systems.

The in-line inspection system EyeC ProofRunner, installed on the press, guarantees a 100% print inspection at full machine speed. The EyeC Quality Manager enables printers to evaluate the inspection data from the press, later, at a working station separated from the finishing line. The released data is then used to efficiently and quickly remove faulty materials on the rewinder.
