Thirty-four individuals participate in three-day training program featuring live demonstrations and hands-on instruction.

Alexandria, Va. – Idealliance, a global thought leader in the graphic communications industry and a non-profit organization with 11 strategically located offices around the world, partnered with direct marketing leader IWCO Direct to provide G7 training at the IWCO Direct leading-edge print, media, direct mail, and marketing services facility in Chanhassen, Minn.

Led by Don Hutcheson, G7 Lead Expert Trainer, the three-day training event hosted by IWCO Direct included live demonstrations of offset, wide format, and proofing color management utilizing the G7 methodology designed to align all print technologies for visual consistency, process and quality control, and color workflow management.

As leaders in direct mail and direct marketing, as well as the print and packaging supply chain, IWCO Direct is highly involved in the global G7 community. With a team of G7 Experts on staff covering its G7 Master Qualified Facilities across the country, IWCO Direct offered three dozen trainees a first-hand opportunity to certify and implement G7, which leads to operational success through quality and process control, optimization, and efficiency to serve brands, print buyers, and the print supply chain.

“We are proud to have 34 individuals including prepress and press operators, OEM and technology suppliers, brand owners, publication and other media producers, print buyers, workflow and color specialists, and color consultants participate in this training opportunity and achieve G7 Expert and G7 Professional certification and join the global G7 community,” says Jordan Gorski, Director of Certification Programs for Idealliance.

“For more than five years, IWCO Direct has maintained G7 Master Qualification in Chanhassen,” he continues. “We are extremely grateful to partner with such a great host and have an opportunity to grow the G7 community in a facility that is so highly involved in our programs.”
