Crawford Technologies Reports Success at Xploration® 18

Press release from the issuing company

Highlights Included a Busy Exhibit, Packed Accessibility Workshop and Capturing Two Awards

Toronto, Ont. – Crawford Technologies, provider of innovative document solutions that streamline, improve and manage customer communications, reports that Xplor International’s Xploration® 18 conference was an extremely successful event for the company. Xploration 18 brings together the top experts, analysts, consultants and vendors in the customer communications industry to share the latest best practices, trends and strategies.

Crawford Technologies kicked off the event by hosting a pre-conference workshop that uncovered the steps to implement accessible documents. This educational workshop was led by Crawford Technologies’ industry experts: Dennis Quon, EDP, document accessibility services development manager, Aimée Ubbink, EDP, PMP, document accessibility specialist, and Scott Baker, EVP. Speaking to a packed house, the CrawfordTech team explored the features to consider when producing accessible documents, process automation strategies, and the creation of a positive and inclusive customer experience.

On the show floor, Crawford Technologies showcased its powerful solutions for document reengineering, integrated workflows and omnichannel delivery: QA in the Cloud, PRO Conductor, PRO Preference Manager, and its suite of production workflow solutions. Additionally, as the awareness of document accessibility has grown, there has been an increased focus on the importance of this area. Attendees showed great interest in the company’s document accessibility solutions, particularly Auto Tagger for Accessibility, a ground-breaking solution that automatically tags PDF files to make them accessible in real time, and Crawford Technologies’ new e-commerce site, AccessibilityNow.com, that simplifies the process of converting PDF files into Section 508 compliant Accessible PDFs (PDF/UA and WCAG).

Recognizing the company’s innovative software, Xplor awarded Crawford Technologies with the coveted Technology of the Year Award for the Auto Tagger for Accessibility software product. This technology brings the cost of accessibility compliance down from $10 to $30 per page to pennies per page, and greatly speeds turnaround times.

Xplor also awarded its Application of the Year Award to Crawford Technologies in conjunction with Unum Insurance for their results using Operations Express and QA in the Cloud to automate outsourcing and daily quality control processes.

“We are thrilled that Crawford Technologies had such great success at Xploration 18,” said Ernie Crawford, president and CEO of Crawford Technologies. “Xplor continues to be a valuable event for anyone involved in the creation, design and/or delivery of customer communications. We are proud to take a lead role in educating these end users, industry analysts, consultants and vendor subject matter experts.”

Crawford Technologies’ team also moderated leading-edge panels and taught a number of visionary sessions at the conference on broad topics such as document security, document accessibility, workflow automation, document reengineering and quality assurance.
