Helping printers and designers face today’s challenges in a competitive marketplace

Ghent, Belgium – The Ghent Workgroup is providing a unique opportunity of an exclusive workshop on PDF2.0 PDF/X Plus and PDF for Packaging. Taking place in Washington DC on Tuesday, 9th October 2018 the day will be filled with a comprehensive set of training sessions covering all aspects of file creation and discussing the importance of PDF standards, particularly in the evolution and transition to digital printing. Since 2002, GWG has been creating best practice specifications to make the global design and publishing processes more reliable and efficient. Using GWG specifications means companies can have the confidence that their PDF files are validated.

Speakers already confirmed for the workshop are the Senior Vice President and Chief Economist for Print Economics and Management, Printing Industries of America, Ronnie H. Davis PhD; Chair of the Ghent Workgroup, David Zwang; Executive Director of the Ghent Workgroup and CTO of Four Pees, David van Driessche. More speakers are to be announced and the final agenda for the day will be published in due course.

Following shortly after Print 2018 in Chicago, September 30 – October 2, attendees to the workshop are invited to join the Ghent Workgroup for 3 days in Washington DC and stay on for the Ghent Workgroup Technical meeting.
