INX to feature Color Perfection® Demonstrations, Personal Can Designs and More at Cannex & Fillex Asia Pacific

Press release from the issuing company

Schaumburg, Ill. – An industry leader in metal decorating ink technology, INX International Ink Co. (booth 605) has an impressive to-do list ready for visitors attending Cannex & Fillex Asia Pacific in Guangzhou, China from May 15-18. Special INX Color Perfection® demonstrations are scheduled each day to learn more about the INX 2-Piece Metal Color Catalog.

Experts will be on hand to also discuss the INX Digital Color Library available for use in Adobe® design programs, the CP100 UV Digital Cylindrical Printer, INXSpec™ Brand Color Perfection System and more.

“We’re very excited about this year’s show. By hosting the Color Perfection demonstrations every day at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm., we will show how accurate, reproducible and consistent color can be achieved for 2-piece metal can design,” said Renee Schouten, Director of Marketing for INX International Ink Co. “Everyone who visits the booth will have the opportunity to use the INX Color Catalog to select, communicate and specify color in an actual can design they can print and take home.”

The Color Catalog gives brand owners, designers and metal decorators a new advanced color communication tool not previously available since it contains over 600 removable color swatches on metal, not paper, for true and accurate representation. Access to the same INX colors happens via the INX Digital Color Library available in today’s design programs.

The 12-ounce cans will be decorated onsite using the CP100 UV Digital Cylindrical printer. It produces color accurate proofs directly onto standard 2-piece cans and is capable of delivering samples or prototypes in only a few seconds. Driven by the JetINX™ Printhead Drive Electronics and Ink Recirculation systems the CP100 offers the latest patent pending helical software. It uses an extended-gamut UV ink set specially formulated for can proofing applications to print exceptional single or multiple color images at high speeds.

“Digital proofing is one of the key INX Color Perfection components we will discuss during the daily demonstrations,” noted Schouten. “We encourage brand owners and metal decorators to find out more about its advantages, as well as our best-in-class inks.”

Schouten added that the INX booth would also feature special effect inks and coatings and a complete display of metal decorating products, services and digital printing capabilities. This includes industry-leading metal decorating ink systems such as the INXSpec™ Brand Color Perfection system for Monobloc decorators.

The INXSpec system has eliminated any guesswork by duplicating perfect color for consistent results each and every time. Working in tandem with the INX MDO base system, color perfection is achieved in only four steps. Starting with initial color measurement before moving on to proof and confirm, dispense and mix, and verify and decorate, the end result is a highly accurate dispensing solution within +/- 0.01 lbs.- 0.5 grams.
