The SP units are full function spectrophotometers for the Graphic Arts, read data rapidly, produce greater resolution, and cover a wider spectral range. The fixed positioning of the optical components, with no moving parts, makes the instrument extremely robust and maintenance free. The compact measuring head is positioned directly above the object to be analyzed and thus permits the measurement of small color samples. The SP 820 features all common colorimetric functions, including the display of curves. These functions make the instrument especially useful in mixing and matching colors. The unit's easy handling and high sampling rate permit fast and reliable measurement of the numerous fields on test charts being used by color management systems. The SP 820 measures via spectral remission according to DIN 5033 and DIN 6174.
