The New Tax Law: What Printing Industry Business Owners and Executives Must Know About International Tax Law Changes

Press release from the issuing company

APTechSM and WhatTheyThink offer free webinar series to help print owners and executives and their advisors navigate the new tax law

Reston, Va. – Do you know how the new tax law can help—or hurt—your business? During the month of April, the Association for Print Technologies (APTechSM), in collaboration with WhatTheyThink, is presenting “Tax Reform for Print Businesses,” a four-part weekly series of free webinars that will provide print business owners and their executives with key questions to ask their CPAs and CFOs about the law and the opportunities it may provide.

“Recognizing the continuous and unique evolution of every print business, the ‘Tax Reform for Print Businesses’ webinar series will focus on the specific implications of the new law on establishments of various sizes and provide actionable takeaways for planning purposes today and going forward,” says Mark Nuzzaco, APTech Vice President, Government Affairs.

The fourth and final session, “New International Tax Law Changes,” will take place on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. ET, and is targeted toward printers and technology suppliers that work internationally. How does the new tax law impact income made overseas? How can print businesses and suppliers with overseas operations minimize their tax burden when repatriating income? How can U.S. printers and suppliers navigate international tax laws?

The presenters for the webinar series will be:

  • Mark Nuzzaco, Vice President, Government Affairs at APTech, who will moderate the series, and
  • Joseph Webb, Ph.D., Director of WhatTheyThink’s Economics and Research Center and President of Strategies for Management, who is highly regarded for being able to provide practical context for these topics.

APTech and WhatTheyThink also gratefully acknowledge the assistance of Stephen Entin, Senior Fellow, Tax Foundation, Washington, D.C.

Registration for one session in this series provides access to all four sessions.

The webinars are specifically designed for live participation as well as archived listening. Because many tax-related decisions are complicated and can take time, APTech has ensured that participants can review the webinars whenever they need to, and also share them with members of their leadership teams and their financial advisors. Slides and audio from past installments in this series can be accessed by webinar registrants at www.whattheythink.com/webinars.
