Print Advocacy Program Recognizes the Power and Sustainability of Print in the Media Mix

Reston, Va. – The Association for Print Technologies (APTech?), formerly NPES, and Two Sides North America, co-sponsors of the annual Positively Print recognition program, announce the award program is now open for nominations. In its ninth year, the Positively Print program is designed to recognize print advocacy campaigns that promote the enduring power and sustainability of print in today’s multi-channel media mix.

“Two Sides is pleased to recognize, through the Positively Print program, organizations that focus on the unique attributes, effectiveness and sustainability of print and paper, which so effectively aligns with our mission,” states Phil Riebel, President, Two Sides North America, Inc.

Intended to spotlight the variety of ways in which the effectiveness and sustainability of print are being promoted, the 2018 Positively Print awardee will be recognized at PRINT 18®, the largest and most innovative annual Graphic Communications Industry event in the Americas. PRINT 18 will take place September 30 – October 2, 2018, in McCormick Place-South in Chicago, Illinois.

“The Positively Print program was created to acknowledge creative and effective print advocacy campaigns within the entire graphic communications industry,” said Thayer Long, APTech President. “Again this year we want to demonstrate to companies involved in print that advocating for print can be done, and multiplies a powerful message that benefits our entire industry.”

This year’s awardee will join a highly creative lineup of past winners that includes: Sappi North America’s “Verticals: The Marketing of Higher Education” book, (2017); Rolland Enterprises Inc.’s “The Paper Loop” magazine (2016); Sappi North America’s “A Communicator’s Guide to the Neuroscience of Touch” (2015); IKEA’s “Bookbook” campaign (2014); Sappi Fine Paper’s “PRINT &” book (2013); and, PrintCity’s “PRINT! Seen! Lean and Green” campaign (2012). The 2018 Positively Print program is accepting submissions until Friday, June 15, 2018.
