IPAP 2018 ONLINE EXHIBITOR REGISTRATION OPEN

Online exhibitor registration for “IPAP Printing & Packaging Expo – powered by drupa” 2018 is now open at www.drupa-global.com. The second edition of the Iranian trade fair will be held from October 4 – 7, 2018 at Iran’s newest exhibition center – the Shahr-e-Aftab (Exhibiran International). Forming part of drupa’s global Print Technologies Portfolio, IPAP 2018 complies with all the drupa quality standards and participants will benefit from Messe Düsseldorf’s global network and expertise.

The event targets suppliers of printing technology across the entire value chain from prepress/print, premedia/multichannel and postpress to converting and packaging as well as materials, equipment, services and infrastructure – specifically tailored to customer needs in the Near and Middle East.

Held concurrently with IPAP for the second time will be pacprocess Tehran (part of Messe Düsseldorf’s interpack alliance) addressing the packaging sector and related processing industries. The debut of the trade fair duo last year organized by Messe Düsseldorf in cooperation with Barsaz Rooydad Pars Company (BRP) exceeded the expectations of the over 160 exhibitors and some 7,500 trade visitors.

The print and packaging sector including the related processing industries are considered key industries in Iran after the international sanctions were eased in 2016 and are closely associated with rising export revenues of Iranian companies. With more than 32,000 offset print shops, 50,000 digital printing service providers and about 65,000 additional upstream suppliers to the print industry, the Iranian market offers great potential for further business development. In this emerging region with some 80 million inhabitants, nearly all sectors experience backlog demand and the printing industry is under particularly high pressure to invest. The relatively young, consumption-oriented population increasingly calls for high-quality solutions in print technologies and applications, packaging material and finishing. Manufacturers need state-of-the-art machinery and services to meet that demand which in general have to be imported.
