Former USPS Sales and Client Leader Cliff Rucker Joins Pitney Bowes to Further Drive Growth in Global Ecommerce

Stamford, Conn. – Pitney Bowes, a global technology company that provides innovative products and solutions to power commerce today named former USPS Sales and Customer Relations Leader Cliff Rucker as the company’s new Vice President of Business Development, Commerce Services. In this role, Rucker is responsible for helping to accelerate ecommerce growth opportunities for Pitney Bowes both domestically and internationally.

Rucker retired from the USPS on Friday after more than 38 years of federal service. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Customer Relations, where he oversaw a sales organization of 1,000 employees and helped the USPS achieve double-digit growth in package volumes.

Rucker will lead business development for the Pitney Bowes Commerce Services Group, which provides tailored ecommerce solutions for retailers and marketplaces of all sizes, including Commerce Complete, the industry’s most proven, capable and scalable end-to-end global ecommerce platform, helping more than 250 direct merchants and online marketplaces ship millions of parcels to over 200 countries and territories worldwide. In addition, with the acquisition of Newgistics, Inc. in 2017, Pitney Bowes provides fulfillment, delivery and returns solutions to more than 500 ecommerce retailers. The company recently earned the number one ranking for international ecommerce and fulfillment technology in the 2018 IR1000 Vendor Report published by Internet Retailer.
