Warren Announces Chromocard HB Is Now Available in Reel Stock

Tuesday, February 27, 2018

Press release from the issuing company

To complement its ever popular Chromocard HB FSC® sheet stock range, Warren, the UK’s leading independent carton board, graphical board, and paper stockist, has announced the introduction of a 3-5-day reel to sheet service at its converting facility at West Bromwich.

This high-quality folding boxboard with coated white back is now available to Warren’s customers tailor-made from stock to suit their specific requirements – ensuring a reduction in waste and therefore less environmental impact as well as lower on-costs.

Developed in response to the ever-increasing demands of the graphical and packaging industries, the possibilities for this superb high-quality, coated, white back (GC1) board are endless. Applications include luxury cosmetics, blister packaging and perfumes, pharma, greeting cards and higher quality packaging and graphical uses.

Manufactured at Stora Enso’s Fors mill in Sweden, the multi-layered construction of Chromocard HB FSC® ensures reliability and gives exceptional high-speed print performance in all grammages. With Chromocard HB FSC® you have optimal strength and remarkable stiffness combined with a coated white reverse. When there is the need to reduce grammage for any given thickness, without compromising performance, Chromocard HB FSC® is the perfect solution and suitable for all types of printing, varnish and film lamination.

Warren is the exclusive merchant stockist for both sheets and reels of Chromocard HB FSC®.

Commenting on the addition of Chromocard HB FSC® to its reel stock, Warren’s Commercial Director, John Turner, stated, “Chromocard has always been associated with quality within both the Graphical & packaging sectors. With more and more focus on price and our customers requesting increased availability of sizes to best fit their requirements, this was the natural next step. Stocked in a wide range of reel widths this allows our customers to get the exact size delivered quickly on a High-Quality grade. It further extends our stock partnership with Stora Enso which already includes well known grades such as Ensocoat, Performa Brilliance and Tambrite H/S as well as their paper range, Lumi.”
