SIERRA VISTA, Ariz., Sharp Electronics Corp., a leading supplier of office technology equipment, today announced that the U.S. Department of Army at Arizona's Fort Huachuca has awarded the company a $450,000 five-year contract to provide digital copier/printers. Under this bid, the Sharp National and Government Account Division (SNAP) will supply a full line of Sharp IMAGERÅ digital copier/printers to the Garrison and the other crews throughout the base. Providing local service and support to this bid is Valley Imaging Solutions, a Sierra Vista-based SNAP dealer. Formed in 1987 as a dedicated, specialized division that operates as a single source for all business product needs, the SNAP Division works hand-in-hand with participating dealers nationwide to secure business with Fortune 1000 companies, federal, state and local government agencies and other large accounts. All major product categories within the Sharp Communication & Information Systems Group (CISG) are represented under this comprehensive program including copiers, copier/printers and facsimiles, as well as other business, presentations and portable computing tools.
