SIERRA VISTA, Ariz., Sharp Electronics Corp., a leading supplier of office technology equipment, today announced that the U.S. Department of Army at Arizona's Fort Huachuca has awarded the company a $450,000 five-year contract to provide digital copier/printers. Under this bid, the Sharp National and Government Account Division (SNAP) will supply a full line of Sharp IMAGERÅ digital copier/printers to the Garrison and the other crews throughout the base. The bid provides the U.S. Department of Army at Fort Huachuca with a five-year flat-rate rental program. Sharp won the competitive bid from Xerox Corporation, which held the account for more than four years. Providing local service and support to this bid is Valley Imaging Solutions, a Sierra Vista-based SNAP dealer.
