Yupo Joins SGP Community as Silver Patron

Press release from the issuing company

Sayville, N.Y. – The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP), the leading authority in sustainable printing certifications for print manufacturers, announced Yupo Corporation America is the latest SGP Patron at the silver level. Through patronage, Yupo Corporation America, along with other industry leaders dedicated to promoting sustainability, support SGP and keep costs low for certification of print facilities.

YUPO Synthetic Papers are 100 percent recyclable. Further, the product is an ideal solution for a variety of marketing, design, packaging and labeling needs.

  • 100 percent tree free, preserving forests, water and natural resources
  • Made using eco-friendly manufacturing processes
  • Requires relatively little water, energy and chemicals to manufacture

While YUPO Synthetic Papers are not biodegradable, they are free of poisons and heavy metals, and contain no plasticizers.
"Yupo believes that taking responsibility means more than just meeting minimum requirements. As a new member of the SGP Community, we hope to further the goal of less waste, not just for our planet and future generations, but for today," said Bill Hewitt, Marketing Manager, Yupo Corporation America. "Joining forces with SGP helps us achieve better sustainability gains in the industry and our local communities."
