National Association of Presort Mailers Hires Kathleen Siviter as Assistant Executive Director

The National Association of Presort Mailers announced today that Kathleen Siviter has accepted the position of Assistant Executive Director for the association starting February 15, 2018.

Annapolis, Md. – The National Association of Presort Mailers (NAPM) announced today that Kathleen Siviter has accepted the position of Assistant Executive Director for the association starting February 15, 2018.

Kathy has worked in the industry for many years, including 11 years with the U.S. Postal Service, 7 years as Vice President of the Association for Postal Commerce (PostCom), and over 15 years as President of Postal Consulting Services, Inc., which has provided services to the Parcel Shippers Association (PSA), Envelope Manufacturers Association (EMA), PostCom, NAPM, and many others. Kathy has also served for the past few years in a leadership role with PostalVision 2020, a Washington, DC-based think-tank organization focused on the postal/delivery/logistics industry. She has participated in the Postmaster General’s Mailers Technical Advisory Committee (MTAC) for over 25 years and was industry co-chair for the MTAC Workgroup tasked with recommending new service standards for all Market Dominant products in 2007, as required by the Postal Accountability & Enhancement Act (PAEA).

In the newly created position of Assistant Executive Director, Kathy will work closely with Executive Director Bob Galaher on all facets of the association’s work, as well as enhancing NAPM member benefits and support. NAPM Executive Director Bob Galaher said “The NAPM has come a long way since I joined in 2011 and today we are involved in many endeavors with Postal and across the mailing Industry. I am very excited at having Kathy join our team, with her skills and knowledge of the Postal industry we will be able to generate even greater value for our membership and the mailing industry.”
