RILA And Global Scanning Partner for 3D Product Placement Across Next-Generation Retail Channels

Arlington – Today, the Retail Industry Leader’s Association (RILA) and Global Scanning A/S, the market leader in Scanning Technology, have formed a Strategic Partnership around next-generation innovation for the retail industry by joining RILA’s (R)Tech Center for Innovation. Launched just one year ago, RILA’s (R)Tech Center convenes retail innovation chiefs to share practices and collaborate on accelerating the industry’s transformation. The (R)Tech Center believes that one trend is driving change in the industry more than any other: the trend toward ubiquitous and ultra-personal shopping. Global Scanning’s solutions enable that trend with next-generation retail marketing via 3D Product Placement across e-commerce, mobile, livestream, and AR/VR/MR channels.

The Agreement also details cooperation in several key areas beneficial to RILA’s membership:

  • Global Scanning technology will be included in all (R)Tech Center’s activities
  • Joint educational sessions to highlight the use cases for 3D Product Placement
  • Participation in RILA’s Conferences, innovation programs, collegiate network activities, and more - including the annual Retail CEO Forum, taking place in Tucson just next week
