Mimosa Digital significantly grows it’s business with the OKI C942dn

Monday, January 08, 2018

Press release from the issuing company

When Mimosa Digital set out to expand its Hoboken, NJ-based print operation with a one-stop online shop for wedding stationery called PerfectlyInvited.com, owners Jason and Regina Jaslow wanted to create an online marketplace where couples were free to create the perfect invitations for their wedding. They turned to OKI and its white toner print system, the C942dn, to provide customers access to the full color spectrum on an unprecedented variety of media.

For Mimosa Digital and its upstart PerfectlyInvited.com, implementing OKI’s C942dn meant much more than providing clientele the ability to print elegant stationery on dark-colored stocks. The investment enabled the print shop to fulfill short runs of specialized prints without sacrificing its profitability. This short-run capability strengthened PerfectlyInvited’s commitment to a highly customizable platform that offers full control over color, design, and print quantity.

While OKI’s technology has allowed Mimosa Digital to significantly grow its customer base in the wedding stationery market, the shop’s ability to print with white toner has also garnered the attention of local graphic designers who have never had an affordable option for full-color graphics on dark stocks. “They really appreciate having a printer who understands printing with white,” said Regina Jaslow.

“The OKI C942...allowed Mimosa Digital to quickly expand our portfolio, penetrate a new market niche, and attract high margin clientele.
