Corporate Communications Group Moves into New Headquarters and Consolidates Key Printing Technology with Kodak

Press release from the issuing company

Corporate Communications Group, the largest independently-owned graphic communications facility in the mid-Atlantic region, has announced their move into a newly renovated 131,000-square foot facility in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. The new facility allows the company to consolidate key prepress and digital print technology with KODAK Products, securing a more efficient workflow and digital production environment for their approximately 190 employees.

A longtime customer of Kodak, Corporate Communications Group (CCG) is streamlining its prepress operation by replacing three CTP units with a single KODAK MAGNUS Q800 Platesetter. The newly installed machine, which processes up to 62 plates per hour and features advanced automation options, will help CCG efficiently scale its operations and increase productivity as it enters a new phase of growth.

In addition to the MAGNUS Q800 Platesetter, CCG is an existing user of KODAK PRINERGY Workflow Solutions and operates its digital printing business with a KODAK NEXPRESS Digital Color Production Press. Each of these KODAK Solutions will help power the organizations Commercial Print, Direct Mail and Digital Print capabilities for its portfolio of association and non-profit, retail, financial, educational and special interest group customers.

“While we’re excited about our move into the new facility, our production team is doubly excited with the upgrade and installation of our new prepress workflow and digital print equipment,” said Michael Marcian, CEO. “Our growth trajectory over the last few years has been incredible, thanks to the loyalty of both our customers and our employees who serve them. It made complete sense for us to work with Kodak throughout this move, and for our employees to benefit from our commitment to remain on the leading edge of today’s advanced technology,” added Marcian.
