Tharstern shortlisted for BAPC top award

Colne, Lancashire, UK  Tharstern, the MIS technology specialist for print, packaging and labelling industries, is in the running for a top industry award from the British Association for Print and Communications (BAPC).

 

Association chairman Sidney Bobb has confirmed that Tharstern has been shortlisted for ‘Supplier of the Year” for its annual awards that will be held in London early in the new year.

Tharstern has an enviable reputation in the print and allied industries for its technology, service and quality of staff. Since a management buyout three years ago, the business has continued to grow and now also has a highly successful north American operation.

Client feedback has played a pivotal role in shaping thinking for Tharstern that invests heavily in research and development. Its widely-acclaimed MIS (Management Information Systems) are recognised across the world and the company has a strong customer focus.

The BAPC’s Mr Bobb said: “As an association run by printers for printers that shares a wealth of knowledge and experience, we regularly meet companies that make a truly positive in the print and communications industry. Tharstern is one of these elite companies and will be receiving a certificate to acknowledge being shortlisted for these sought-after awards. I wish them and the other companies every success.”

Tharstern, the pioneering specialist software house, was formed 33 years ago. It launched into America in the autumn of 2015 and has a total of 7,000 users of its MIS and workflow solutions. Tharstern is trusted by over 600 UK print businesses and more than 50 in Australasia, as well as more than a dozen installations in north America.
