Korber PaperLink launches new Internet Gateway www.kpl.net

Hamburg, 14th May 2002 – The Korber PaperLink holding company has redesigned its Internet web site. www.kpl.net now has over 600 pages of detailed information on the products and services offered by the Korber Pa-perLink companies. The home page is now used as a virtual gateway to the Korber PaperLink company and the eight subsidiary businesses in the holding company. In addition to client-friendly functions, such as on-line spare part enquiries and service queries, there is a new premium area. Access to the premium area is free of charge and merely requires a short registration process to be completed. After registration, the user can access various functionalities and information: Secondhand machine database: At the on-line market place for used ma-chines from the Korber PaperLink companies, purchasers can inform themselves about technical details of all equipment. The machine illustra-tions are backed up by photographs, block diagrams and, in part, by video sequences also. T.I.P.: The Technical Improvement Programme, known as T.I.P. explains how production machines from Korber PaperLink can be converted or modernized, regardless of whether this concerns new control system and drive technologies, or renewal and improvement of mechanical components. On-line forum: This provides technicians with the opportunity of exchang-ing information on the topic of paper and tissue processing on line.
