Weekley's Mailing Service Expands Offerings with Pitney Bowes AcceleJet Printing and Finishing System

Press release from the issuing company

STAMFORD, Conn. - Pitney Bowes Inc., a global technology company that provides innovative products and solutions to power commerce, today announced that Weekley’s Mailing Service, a multi-generational letter shop serving the Cleveland market, has selected the AcceleJet printing and finishing system to expand its mailing business to offer high-volume color printing.

“We wanted to bring in the best technology and best practices to better serve our customers,” said Christian Weekley, President, Weekley’s Mailing Service. “Not only will it displace several toner printers, the AcceleJet will change the game for us in terms of delivering high quality color print output for our customers. This is a big deal for my business and I trust Pitney Bowes to help me grow. I’m already looking forward to adding a second AcceleJet.”

The AcceleJet is an innovative roll to cut-sheet printing solution that provides a simple, cost-effective path to 100% variable data color inkjet at a cost comparable to many monochrome options. It is ideal for mid-sized transactional mail operations with a monthly print volume of one to ten million impressions. The system combines high quality color output, integrated finishing and dynamic perforation. Customer communications are transformed into personalized pieces – creating greater impact with bills, statements, enrollment forms and offers.

“On behalf of Pitney Bowes, I am pleased to welcome Weekley’s Mailing to our growing AcceleJet family,” said Grant Miller, President, Pitney Bowes Document Messaging Technologies. “Color print is fast becoming a requirement for mid-sized print and mail shops. The AcceleJet delivers outstanding print quality, unrivaled reliability and the output flexibility, including dynamic perforation, to handle a variety of jobs. It allows our clients to expand their service offerings and grow their business.”

Pitney Bowes offers the industry’s broadest range of inkjet format sizes, with a portfolio that includes the AcceleJet, IntelliJet 20 HD, IntelliJet 30, and IntelliJet 42 HD. For more information or to speak with a Pitney Bowes print specialist, please visit www.pitneybowes.com.
